Interesting concepts. At the risk of sounding self serving: we stumbled
upon a complete and balanced natural skin care ingredient that contains
enzymes, hyaluronic acid, soluble proteins, peptides, complex
carbohydrates, all the biological molecules our skin needs. With one
product you may be al set. The ingredient is naturally occurring.

Great idea! I’m trying to go natural but products such as your line are way
to expensive. :(

A lot of people wonder why organic and natural products cost more- the main
reason for this is that organic growing requires more manual labor. Also
her products are made in the US where certain wages are necessary VS brands
that outsource to China for example and pay 2 cents an hour to their
employees also testing in lab or on hired people and dermatologists VS
animal testing etc.. Tata’s items are expensive and may not be for everyone
but for a woman that runs her own farm that grows all the ingredients
organically from scratch and hires her employees and builds her products
ethically- I don’t know about you but I’d rather my money go to a product
that is not only good for me but that I know is good for the environment
and has good ethics regarding animal testing and fair wage employees etc
then go to somewhere else. If you can truly not afford there are always
lines like Burt’s Bees and Yes to Carrots and Alba Botanica that no are not
100% natural or grown on a personal farm but are still better off then a
lot of the other junk out there.

I just paid $50 for a famous cleansing balm that touts 4 essential oils and
such. Those oils are the 2/3 of the ingredient list — between the first
1/3 of mineral oil (cheap), PEG, etc. and the 3rd 1/3 of 5 parabens. Pretty
pricy for a product that is 2/3 cheap ingredients and chemical
preservatives. If you purchased a full skin care line at a department
store, I bet it woul cost $400-$550, and the ingredients would be of mixed
quality.

Perhaps, the level of industrial manufacturing and outsourcing that goes
into the “chemical filled stuff” lowers the price that you see on the
shelf; and the “natural products” haven’t built that level of
infrastructure and market saturation? Big business makes it cheaper~!

Well natural ingredients are extremely expensive because they’re natural
and organic. Which are expensive ingredients 🙂

Skin product companies would like everyone to give their products a try to
show how good they are. Have you ever noticed a cosmetics area set-up in
your neighbourhood mall offering free samples? Well i just found a website
that will send free test products to your home, its the best way to get
free skin products 🙂 Paste this in your browser bit.ly/15PNQJJ?v=chtbo

I really liked Tata, but her products are pricey, I think her next step
should be to try to make it accessible to more people, that would be really
something, for now, only the 1% can afford it.
jrleite said,

I’m not sure, after listening to her…. but I think that Natura
Cosmeticos, from Brazil, makes natural products for skin care, hair care
and others “X care”, specially for women. I’m not a seller… I’m just
saying that. Maybe someone else here knows about Natura better than me and
could say if it’s products are really made with natural/fresh manufacture.
Anyway, Tata Harper is so pretty!

wow her stuff is soooooo expensive!!! $540.00 for the whole skin care set.
No way any normal person can afford that. I will stick with cheap over the
counter stuff at the drugstore.
